Barry Huff

Barry Huff contributed greatly to ETI during his lifetime. He was welcomed to the ETI Board of Directors in 2014 after a long history as donor and supporter. Barry passed away in December, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. ETI remains indebted to Barry for his legacy of compassion, character and competence.
From October 2008 until his retirement in July 2015, Barry Huff was a Senior VP with National Marrow Donor Program/Be The Match. Throughout his career, Barry served in a number of leadership roles in marketing and consulting for the consumer foods industry, product development, brand and product marketing, strategic planning, alliance building, communications and sales force management.
Barry earned his MBA in Marketing from the University of Iowa, an MA in Speech & Theater at the University of Michigan, and a BA in Theater at Grinnell College (Iowa).
Educate Tanzania was honored to be one of the many nonprofits that gained from Barry’s impressive background and non-profit involvement at the Board of Directors and Advisory Committee level. His experience demonstrated his passion for community service, particularly with organizations focusing on multicultural audiences.
