On June 3rd Educate Tanzania and friends joined hands at Hazletine National Golf Club for a fabulous evening of fun and fundraising!! ETI enjoyed the company of over 150 friends.
Highlights from the evening include:
- Rev Kakulima from Karagwe Diocese shared why Karagwe University College (KARUCO) is needed.
- Gregg Rutter, educator and architect, shared what it was like to visit Karagwe.
- Presentation by NASA shuttle pilot Duane “Digger” Carey who showed us Africa from space. “Africa Matters”
- Many fabulous items were auctioned off, including a Fall Lutsen weekend, Harmon Killebrew memorabilia, and golf outings!
In all, Educate Tanzania successfully raised over $25,000 thanks to the generosity of all who attended.
