Christopher Jones
- Educate Tanzania Inc (ETI) Board of Directors
- Philanthropy
With numerous personal experiences in education and in giving back to the community, Christopher Jones has developed a strong understanding and a passion for both of these ideals. Career roles in semiconductor sales, customer service, information and data technology, finance, and education have provided Christopher – and now ETI – with a wide-ranging skill set to draw from while developing efficient and effective solutions to critical problems.
In 2015, Christopher was instrumental in raising awareness of the critical need for water in Karagwe, Tanzania and then co-developing a water harvesting and piping system for the agricultural university there with MSAADA Architects. Less than a year later, the water harvesting system, which includes four 50,000 gallon storage tanks and piping from surrounding buildings, was built. Christopher’s passion is to focus on infrastructure for ETI that will help the organization sustain funding, carry out its charitable purposes and provide sustainable sources of clean water, nutrition, health and education in developing communities for generations to come.
