It is time to say ‘goodbye’ to our partners in Tanzania. This is never easy but the draw of home keeps us moving forward. We gather our friends at the Karagwe Hotel, exchange small gifts and say ‘so long’. Our trusty driver, Dastan, gets us to Mutukula (border) where we once again navigate visas, papers, etc. and head into Uganda. Ben’s Rentals driver, Pius, picks us up and we head to Entebbe. We arrive at Entebbe, collect the drone that was confiscated upon arrival and head to the Karibuni where we eat and clean up. We say goodbye to Bruce Engel who heads to Rwanda to check on his work there; then board the flight for Amsterdam at nearly midnight.
