The ETI Board of Directors welcomed Noela Ishebabi to the team at the ETI Annual meeting in September, 2024. We are especially excited to have Noela join us as she is steeped in experience from the area we are serving and came to us highly recommended by many.

Noela Ishebabi grew up in the Bukoba area of Tanzania (near Karagwe in the Kagera Region). She is familiar with the issues, problems, strengths and ways of the people in this particular area of Tanzania. Now, Noela lives in Minnesota, has known ETI’s Gracious Msuya for years and is active in the Swahili community here.
Noela is a nurse assistant, a licensed and certified caterer and leads a Tanzanian dance group that performs in various venues to highlight and spread the best of Tanzanian culture.
“I am deeply committed to enhancing education and promoting sustainable development in underserved communities in Tanzania. ETI’s mission to empower Tanzanian communities through improved education aligns perfectly with my values. Joining the ETI board would allow me to make a meaningful impact by supporting quality education while also addressing the broader needs of Tanzanian communities.”
