KARUCO Re-Opens

KARUCO RE-OPENS TO 40 STUDENTS
Like many schools during the spring of 2020, KARUCO announced that it would be temporarily closing its doors as a precautionary measure to help reduce the incidence of COVID-19. Administrators sent students back to their homes to shelter in place. KARUCO staff and administrators stayed in communication with each other, and continued planning for the students who were enrolled. However, distance learning is especially difficult if not impossible in rural Tanzania since power is not a given and access to online services is rare and spotty at best.

KARUCO re-opened on June 1 enabling administrators and staff in order to plan for the forty more students who are headed to KARUCO this fall, and to host a summer conference for 200 young women and men, who are sure to be ambassadors for the college.

ETI is so proud of KARUCO as they continue to make strong gains in reputation and enrollments
