On June 1st, 2012 175 generous donors joined Educate Tanzania for a night to celebrate both the past successes of Educate Tanzania and to raise money to build KARUCO. Bishop Dr. Benson Bagonza spoke in his keynote address about the inspiration behind KARUKCO and his vision for the university’s future.

We would like to give special thanks to the Estate of Jacqueline Nolte Jones for the generous donation of $55,000 to Educate Tanzania. The generosity of the Jones Estate is a “game changer” that will greatly accelerate the timeline for establishing KARUCO.
